THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN ORDERING GALLERY WRAPPED CANVAS PRINTS.
Because the image is wrapped around the canvas stretcher frames (B), you will loss about 2" on all four sides of the print area that will be wrapped around the edges of the frame. Please remember to add 4" to the height and width of the file that you want to enlarge and us this method.

If you need all of the image visible and not wrapped around the edge of a frame, then we suggest using the "Flat Mount Ready". This will be shipped, rolled and in a tube.
THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN ORDERING OR THINKING ABOUT CANVAS PRINTS
If you are ordering a print on canvas, you are probably intending to mount it on a stretcher frame. If you order your print(s) with conventional cutting (cut to size or cut with 1/4" extra border), you will face a problem: how do you wrap the print around the stretcher frame without losing an important part of the image (see image at right)? In general, the outside 2" of the print is used to wrap around the stretcher frame.
If you do not use a canvas cut method and choose “cut to size” you will not be able to mount it on a frame wrapped. The image to the right was cut to size but a white 2” border was added and then tried to wrap. Not very pretty.A solution would be to do what is known as “flat mount”. Like a normal photo but use a spray adhesive and mount the canvas to a foam core or matting board using spray glue. Then just put it into the frame either with or without the glass.
A better solution: choose the "canvas cut option". Our system will add a 2" border on all sides, but print this border with a mirror image of your file. That way the overall color and texture of the border is similar to that on the front, but you don't lose any of your image (see image at right). Note, that again we haven't perfectly aligned the print with the frame, but the mirror image makes that misalignment not very noticeable.
Please note; that we do not pre-mount any canvas products on a frame. This would obviously cost more to ship due to it being flat. We have decided to pass the savings of shipping onto you, our customers and let you do the mounting on whatever method you choose.
Also note; That if you choose the canvas cut option you are adding 2” more on all 4 sides. Therefore if your file is 16x20 and want to mount on a frame, you must add 4” to both dimensions, which would now be 20x24 and of course this would cost more.
